| Aldora’s Hotel is a cozy family-Hotel, located in Hersonissos, a small, lively, modern, sea-resort city, along the Northern coast of theGreek island of Crete. It is 25km away from the international airport of Heraklion city, capital of Crete, just 30km away from the ancient city-palace of Knossos, and 35km away from Agios Nikolaos, another beautiful and famous city-by-the-sea! It is rated as a two star ( ** ) Hotel, by the National Tourist Organization and consists of 21 licensed rooms, in three floors, all with private bathroom and balcony. The access to the rooms is possible through two (2) stair-cases and a central elevator. Our Hotel can fit a total of 48 people, as we have 13 {two-bed} rooms, 3 {three-bed} rooms, 4 {one double-bed and one single-bed} rooms and a small-suit top-penthouse room with a double bed and private access to one of our terraces! In the ground floor there is a lounge-lobby, the reception area and a café-bar-restaurant, with a friendly green-yard, where the breakfast and the dinner is served. There is also an Internet-and-Game-spot under construction at the semi-floor, above the reception area, plus a semi-private loft, over the café-bar area, for meetings and private parties. Hersonissos is famous for the variety of the beaches, either sandy, or rocky, but also the hundreds of lively beach-bars, coffee shops, night-clubs and restaurants along the coast.Our Hotel is only one block away from the main street and the market, and two blocks away from the beach, that is about 250m, or 3 minutes walk from the marvelous Aegean-sea. If you chose to rent a car, we can help to direct you to hundreds of beautiful and interesting places to discover, whether you are fond of archaeological sites, traditional villages, virgin beaches, isolated natural spots, or cosmopolitan, touristy sport-centers, resorts and recreational areas. Traditional live Cretan-music and dance nights are held very often in the villages around Hersonissos, but we can also suggest other very interesting sight-seeing explorations, like boat-trips and day-long bus-excursions around Crete.
